Foundations Testing
Building on solid ground starts with knowing what’s beneath it. At Converse Consultants, we help make sure your commercial or government property stands strong from the ground up with expert foundation investigations and testing.
Our geotechnical engineers use proven methods like soil borings, cone penetration tests (CPT), and standard penetration tests (SPT) to understand the strength and stability of the soil. We look at key factors such as bearing capacity, settlement potential, and soil classification to determine how your foundation should be designed. In our lab, we test soil samples for moisture, density, and shear strength to make sure every layer is ready to handle the load.
We don’t stop there. Our environmental team performs Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments and any subsequent contaminant testing needed. These evaluations help prevent costly surprises during construction and ensure a safe, compliant project site.
With the data we collect, our engineers help guide your design, whether it calls for shallow footings, mat foundations, or deep piles. Every recommendation is backed by science and experience, keeping your project stable, durable, and built to last.
When it comes to strong foundations and reliable results, Converse Consultants has you covered from the first test to the final build.
